Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Cancellation of registration has to be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat. If a cancellation is received before or on 21 December, 2018 reimbursement of the registration fee and social events, minus 50 EUR handling charges, will be made. After this date, or if registrants fail to attend the meeting for any reason whatsoever, regrettably no refund (registration fee and social events) can be made. Submitting authors have the right to cancel their registration at no costs in the event their submitted paper or poster is rejected for presentation at CERME11. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, the congress is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of expenses incurred by the congress.

If you require an invitation letter as part of your visa application, you can request one as part of the online meeting registration process. Please complete your registration and send an email to the Congress Secretariat stating that you would like to request an invitation letter. No letters of invitation will be issued without a completed meeting registration.

We accept payments by credit card (5% creditcard charges apply), iDEAL and bank transfer. We cannot accept payment by check and debit card. Any additional fees (e.g. bank charges) are at own expense. Please note, if you choose payment by iDEAL or credit card you will be taken to the secured site of our payment service. Your payment will then be made to the CERME11 account of Congress by design, the congress service agency of this congress.

All registration fees are exempt from VAT. Payment of the applicable registration fee must have been made within 14 days after registration to secure your participation. Your invoice will be enclosed in the confirmation email.

Personal data will be collected, processed and stored by Congress by design (the “Processor”), on behalf of the CERME11 Congress organizers, in its capacity as data controller, only for the preparation and execution of CERME11, 6-10 February , 2019. Delegates’ personal data will be retained securely and under the applicable law, you may, at any time, request access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, erasure or limited processing, portability of your data, or oppose to the processing by written request addressed to the Data Controller through the e-mail address CERME11@congressbydesign.com.
